I've been trawling the internet looking for flash games pertaining to mahjong. Obviously there are the two everyone knows, Tenhou (http://tenhou.net/), and Game Design (http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/mahjong/mahjong_e.html). Now, these are two great sites, and I practically learned Mahjong solely through Game design, and Tenhou showed me how to play more defensively.
But recently I've been wondering if there were any flash versions of more gimmicky types of Mahjong, such as flash adaptations of Fukumoto's Minefield, or Wahsizu Mahjong, or anything which varies from the typical Riichi style?
I've only managed to find one, and it's another from Gamedesign, called Bamboo(http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/bamboo/bamboo.html)(Not sure if it is actually called Bamboo), which is a two player variant, only using the Sou suit. I'm not quite sure of the rules, but I believe it is like normal mahjong with the exclusion of all other suits, but unlike other games, it lets you declare a win, even if it doesn't actually complete your hand, and obviously penalizes for doing so, so maybe it is designed for beginners to understand complex hands and waits? Not quite sure to be honest.
But anyway, does anyone else have any mahjong sites which they frequent?
