| They should've ended it with - Spoiler:
Boshu's death
instead of continuing on with some guy who was good at stacking dora or something. Would've made for a much better conclusion. | |

| I enjoyed the anime for what it was just because I love mahjong but it wasn't fantastic. I'm looking forward to reading the manga. | |

| ... well i kinda like it, once they all accept the fact they are a bunch of cheaters, and - Spoiler:
Boshu comes with that legit god hand at the end, and after that they decide to follow up with the guy that stacks, but there where worst things: like the girl that is good at it but then loses it when her lover appears, the story of Danchi who spends his life chasing Tetsuya, that part be better, and i really didn't like the fact that they didn't got more time for Innami, that one was so good, with him on drugs and still putting a fight, then taking the secret away, damn i miss him, way more than Boshu...

| No yeah I really REALLY liked the concepts of most of the antagonists and that most of them were just really fucked up human beings, especially Innami! I hope to see more development and such in the manga version
But the atmosphere and pacing of the anime felt off to me and the soundtrack was really really.. bad
Which seems like a minor thing but every time some of those songs came up I was just grinding my teeth | |

| hahaha yeah those songs where out of place, and it gets weirder because some times they get their moments, and you say wait a minute this can't be the same anime, and then pow that tune again. | |

They couldn't end with Boshu's death because then the TITLE CHARACTER would have ended the series with losing the final game he was in. I mean think about it, in terms of points he lost; in terms of being alive he won, but that isn't enough. You need the Dora Stacker to really just show that Tetsuya is a stone cold mother fucker and has really arc-ed into being a total bad ass just like Boshu wanted.
